When the signal disappears, web searches and cloud AI stop being useful. Noah keeps a local AI assistant and your saved references, so you can ask questions, work through a problem, and keep learning offline.
How should I use Noah’s answers?
When you can’t look something up online, it helps to have a place to start. Ask Noah to explain a concept, help you think through a problem, or explore your saved references. Treat its answers as a starting point.
What are the 4,800 reference passages?
They are searchable sections that cover topics such as first-aid, preparedness, survival, and emergencies. With the optional library installed, Noah can retrieve relevant excerpts to help answer medical questions offline.

Yes, you’ll be able to bring your own manuals, guides, and notes into Noah’s library through the companion app. Organize references into personal libraries, import files, and choose what to keep on your device for offline use.
Does Noah need an internet connection?
No. Noah runs Llama 3.2 locally and stores its reference library on the device. Questions and answers stay on the device, with no cloud service or account required to use it.
How is Noah powered?
Noah has a rechargeable internal battery, so you can use it away from a power socket. Recharge over 15 V USB-C, with optional solar charging. Battery capacity, measured runtime, and charging times will be shared once confirmed.
What does local processing mean for my data?
Your questions are processed by the AI running inside Noah, and answers are generated there too. You don’t need to send a conversation to a cloud AI service or create an account to use the device.
What will it cost, and when will it launch?
We’re working toward a Kickstarter launch, with pricing and the exact launch date still to be confirmed. Join the waitlist to hear when ordering opens and see what’s included in the first batch.
